Levi had a trip to the Otago Field Days

Levi had a trip to the Otago Field Days and met a nice policeman.

Levi says, 'I told him that my dad was a top police dog in Denmark, he seemed quite impressed.'

It’s a great event for getting Levi used to being in crowds and meeting lots of different people. Working dogs (such a guide dogs etc) need to learn to work in a wide range of situations and sometimes in unpredictable interactions. Sometimes there may be loud noises, big machinery or sudden movements and working dogs need to be able to cope well in these situations. Levi was a star on the day, taking it all in his stride. All K9MD dogs go through rigorous training to ensure they’ll stay cool, calm and collected in a wide range of situations and Levi did exceptionally well on the day.
