Magic is one of K9MD's Prostate Cancer detection dogs. Our Junior Handler recently completed Magic's Stage One Proof of Concept validation with significant success. Designed and analysed by our Biostatistician, it was held over 5 consecutive days and under strict conditions. Checking 300 samples, Magic achieved 87.76% sensitivity (correctly identifying samples with cancer) and 98.8% specificity (correctly ignoring samples that do not have cancer).
