Freida

K9MD Freida has shown conclusively her ability to successfully detect Prostate Cancer in extremely low concentrations with a high level of proficiency. In October 2021 Freida completed a blind randomised control trial as a validation for the proof of concept stage. Held over 5 consecutive days with 200 samples, Freida detected all positive prostate cancer samples at 100% (sensitivity) and ignored all negative samples that were not cancerous 100% (specificity). 

K9MD Freida's results are world leading.

In addition to Freida’s Prostate cancer detection work she has also completed important research trials for K9MD.

Freida has now retired from scent work and is our official canine ambassador. Freida is loved everywhere she goes and even now at the end of the day Freida loves nothing more than a visit to the beach or a run on the farm. 

Freida has received celebrity status appearing in a television commercial with both the media and the public.
