Julia (Julz) Tibble

Growing up locally, Julz completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Otago before working in data management at the local council and later running a fundraising business supporting the Otago Hospice.

Combining her love of dogs and science, joining K9MD has been a dream role for Julz. She loves being part of the team’s groundbreaking research and says watching the dogs at work is nothing short of amazing.

Outside of work, Julz and her husband, Jase, are kept busy with their two children, Harry and Adalyn. Much of their time is spent supporting their children’s sporting commitments and cheering them on from the sidelines. They also enjoy spending time with their two-year-old rescue dog, Luka.
